Graduate exam overview

(Current GMAT Focus Edition – the only version accepted by all universities worldwide as of 2025). The GMAT Focus Edition is universally accepted by more than 7,700 programs at over 2,400 universities in 110+ countries (including all top business schools in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, Singapore, India, etc.). Virtually every top international MBA and overseas business school (Harvard, Stanford, INSEAD, LBS, NUS, ISB, HKUST, etc.) now accepts only the GMAT Focus Edition score. Quantitative Reasoning

Requires 21 questions to be answered in 45 min. The exam consists of Problem Solving only (algebra, arithmetic, percentages, ratios, equations, inequalities, number properties, word problems). There is no Geometry and no Data Sufficiency.This sections carries 33% weightage of the total exams.

Verbal Reasoning

Requires 23 questions to be answered in 45 min. In this section there are only two question types: • Reading Comprehension • Critical Reasoning This involves Sentence Correction, Grammar is completely removed and carries 33% weightage.

Data Insights

This section 20 questions to be answered in 45 min. In this section there are Five question types: • Data Sufficiency (moved here) • Table Analysis • Graphics Interpretation • Multi-Source Reasoning • Two-Part Analysis On-screen calculator is allowed only in this section. Total testing time: 2 hours 15 minutes (+ optional 10-minute break) Total score: 205–805 (reported in 10-point increments) Score validity: 5 years Test format: Computer-adaptive, taken at Pearson VUE test centers or online (GMAT Online also accepted by almost all international schools in 2025)
